About the Dixie Crickets
The Whistling Cricket Bayou Dixieland Band, or "Dixie Crickets" for short,  is just one of several smaller performance ensembles of the Woodinville Community Band. Founded in 2005, it specializes in Dixieland and early 20th century Jazz music.  Their colorful style and toe-tapping rhythms make them  a hit wherever they go.  Notable performances include charitable benefits for the Northshore Performing Arts Center, Overlake Christian Church, the Northwest Railway Museum, Heritage House and Harmony Northwest Chorus and appearances in the City of Bothell and the City of Kirkland 4th of July parades.
